Zimbabwe’s Black Rhinos and Platinum Tied at top

It’s proving to be a heated affair in Zimbabwe’s Premier Soccer League with Black Rhinos at par with Ngezi Platinum, both tying on thirty-one points. However, Platinum has a game in hand.

Rhinos on Sunday put three past bottom-placed Tsholotsho in Harare at the Morris Depot Police Camp, its ninth win of the season in sixteen games.

Platinum would have leapfrogged Rhinos at the table top had they suffered a defeat to sixth-placed Triangle United.

Kariba beat Hwange 1-0 at the Colliery Stadium while Chick Inn drew Dynamos on a goalless score.

Shabanie Mine in another league fixture humbled Yadah 2-0 as How Mine sailed over Harare City 2-1.

Elsewhere, Platinum picked up their eighth win of the season following a 1-0 triumph past Chapungu United with Bantu Rovers slugging out a drab 0-0 tie with Bulawayo City. All games were played on Saturday.
