Tuisila Kisinda Refuses To Rule Out Yanga Move

AS Vita attacker Tuisial Kisinda has opened up about a long-awaited transfer to Yanga and left the door open for a move.

AS Vita attacker Tuisila Kisinda has opened up about a long-awaited transfer to Yanga and left the door open for a move.

At the middle of the 2019/20 season, the Congolese international was ready to move to the Tanzanian giants, but a move never materialized after Vita turned down Yanga’s approach.

The 20-year-old went on to lead Vita to a second place finish in the DR Congo league and bagged 12 league goals in the elite competition.

With the Tanzania Premier League nearing its final stages, which also means that another transfer window is approaching, there have been rumours that the winger has signed a pre-contract arrangement with Yanga.

Kisinda has now come out claiming he is still contracted with the Kinshasa outfit, thus he has not signed a pre-contract with the Dar es Salaam giants.

“I’m still a Vita player. No contract has been signed between Young Africans and me. Discussions are ongoing between Vita and Yanga,” says Kisinda.

“What slowed them down was the Coronavirus. The leaders of Young Africans cannot come to Kinshasa to talk face to face with my team.”

Kisinda, whose contract still has two years left, does not rule out a move to Young Africans in the future.

“If there is an agreement between Vita and Young Africans, I could leave. We will meet with the representatives of the Tanzanian club, who will be in Kinshasa once the borders reopen.”

Yanga through their main transfer sponsor GSM have already announced they will sign top-class players from top premier leagues in Africa.

Kisinda is among the younger players in DR Congo who had a great season with the Black Dolphins in this seasons’ CAF Champions League.
