Sale of Hottest 18-year-old Algerian to Monaco or Nice Could Fetch Local Club Millions

Local Algerian Premier League side Entente Setif could scoop millions if they cash in on Ishak Boussouf to one of the moneybags of the French Ligue1.

Monaco have been pressing and are not relenting in their hot pursuit of the hottest gem to emerge from Algerian domestic football production line.

Mention of the Stade Louis II side’s interest alone should, as expected, put them in pole position considering their status. However, they will have to fend off overtures from OG Nice who have reportedly tabled a bid and are on the cusp of initiating negotiations.

Second division German club Hamburg have also inquired over the starlet’s availability this transfer window.

Setif Sports Director Fahd Halfaia confirms Monaco’s pursuit but said any deal being sanctioned will have to favour the player and interest of the Algerian side.

“Yes, it’s not just Monaco that made us an offer. We have other proposals from France and other teams in Europe who also want to hire him.

“Our main concern is to preserve the interest of the player and the club. I do not hide from you that the money from his transfer will be a breath of fresh air for the coffers of the club,” he said.

Also dubbed Tala, Ishak is only making his breakthrough this term having risen from Entente’s youth ranks and is one of the brightest performers for an outfit whose season is so far in shambles.
