Senegalese wrestler Modou Lo has finally returned prize money given to him by a promoter following a disagreement, Ducor Sports understands.

Lo was under contract with Leowtoo Production, a wrestling agency, but a feud emerged between him and the promoter causing cancellation of the deal.

The fall-out is result of failure to strike an agreement over a specific fight opponent.

Lo had taken the price, said to be 25 million CFA, on the inclination that he will finally seek revenge against former arena king Balla Gaye whom he lost to ten years ago.

However, the promoter couldn’t entice Balla and instead proposed Tapha Tine as alternative, a suggestion Club Rock Energie heavyweight Modou Lo blatantly refused to take.

The agreement between Modou and Leowtoo Tv was hurriedly signed few days after Balla’s win over Gris Bordeaux on referee’s decision in April.

A tribunal in Dakar this weekend ruled that Lo gives back Lewotoo his money, a thing he has done through Birane Gningue, his representative.
