The Reds return to Premier League action in exactly one week’s time when they travel to Goodison Park for Merseyside derby. As part of their preparation for that fixture, they played a warm-up game against a Championship opposition.

Senegalese international Sadio Mane scored the opener for the Reds in 10th-minute from the edge of the area after collecting Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s initial shot which had been saved.

The three African stars will be looking to be part of the Reds XI that tackles Everton at Goodinson Park next Sunday.
