  • admin

Five days after knocking Alibaba Tarimo in a non-title in Dar es Salaam, Tanzanian middleweight boxer Karim “Mtu Kazi” Madonga is ready for another non-title fight.

This time around, he will be involved in a 10-round fight against a yet-to-be-named opponent on January 14 at Tsavo Ballroom,KICC, Nairobi.

Mandonga, who is known for his hilarious pre and post-bout interviews, is in no mood to lose any of the preparatory fights that could deny him a chance to earn an African title fight in the near future.

The 43-year-old boxing sensation has already informed his fans that he is already in Kenya training for the fight in an undisclosed location.

In a previous interview, Mandonga hilariously claimed that he would be welcomed in Kenya by President William Ruto.

This will be the tenth bout for the Morogoro-born star who always maintains his pride whether he losses or wins, to the extent of even doing crazy stunts as if he has won.

The preliminary bout will lead up to Rayton Okwiri versus Kassim Ouma middleweight fight that was initially set to take place in Kampala, Uganda on Monday 26th December.

Mandonga is expected to win the bout to open doors for the third fight next month outside Tanzania.
