Karan Patel Quickest In Rally Of Tanzania Qualifying Stage

Karan Patel and his partner Tauseef Khan got off his best possible start at the 2021 ARC Rally of Tanzania by clocking the fastest time in the pre-event qualifying stage.

Driving a Ford Fiesta, the Kenyan speed master set the best time 3min14s over the 3.18-kilometre stretch at the Highlands Estates.

Highlands Estates formed the highlight of Saturdays’ programme, which revved off with the early morning free practice and preceded by shakedown.

Minti Motorsports UK’s Carl Tundo was the second fastest in his VW Polo R5 while South Africa’s Guy Botterill was the third fastest with the Toyota Etios in a time of 3min25sec.

Gurjit Dhani ruled the National Category in a time of 3m35s  followed by Dharam Pandya(3m36sec) and Randeep Singh (3m37sec).
