Gouye Gui: “I have Been Proposed Eumeu Sene”

Senegalese wrestler Gouye claims he has been offered to fight deposed King of arena Eumeu Sene by a promoter.

The Guediawaye-based star is without an opponent in a wrestling season already beginning to be dull over the lack of fights with no bouts -aside from mini-contests –being signed.

Eumeu Sene, like Gouye Gui, is without a challenger since his lost to Modou Lo, a match he ended up fainting.

And approached over whether or not he has a proposed bout, Gouye confirmed: “I have been offered others part from Eumeu Sène, I was also offered Gris Bordeaux, Tapha Tine, Boy Niang 2 and Reug Reug. I aimed at Modou Lô, Gris Bordeaux and Eumeu Sène. But Modou Lô has a fight, I put it aside to target Eumeu Sène first, then Gris Bordeaux.”

The Senegalese multi-million sport is rocked by a crisis of limited A-list wrestlers and there is longing for the A-zone athletes to consider taking on the second division wrestlers who have proven their worth to open up the arena.

It’s such thinking that has seen Eumeu Sene being pitted against Gouye Gui.

“He is a great champion. If I manage to beat him, I will inherit all his success (Laughter). And then, I am convinced that I will beat him if he dares to take me,” Gouye Gui said, poking fun at his potential adversary.
