Senegal Local Wrestler Turns Hero After Knocking out 4-time World Mutay Champion

Reug Reug is fast becoming a hot-name in the arena of mixed martial arts.

The Senegalese ace competes in Dakar’s second-tier wrestling arena but remains a constant threat to even those in his country’s heavyweight division.

The idea of taking up MMA as a local wrestler was first paved by Bombardier whose tracks Reug Reug is following.

It’s certainly being a journey of thrills for Reug after coming out victorious in the last two fights he’s gotten involved in.

Friday’s encounter was his third up against Cameroon-born four-time world Mutay kick-boxing champion Alain Ngalani who boasts an incredible twenty-five wins in thirty-seven duels losing just eight.

So much was at stake for Ngalani who knew he was taking a risk facing a virtually unknown Reug Reug and he paid dearly for this as he got knocked out.
