Four Days after Having His Contract Terminated, Tunisia’s Nader Gets a New Club

Tunisia midfielder Nader Ghandi’s club-less moments did not go beyond four days as he got on to secure a new employer.

Tunisia midfielder Nader Ghandi’s club-less moments did not go beyond four days as he got on to secure a new employer.

This came after Belgian top tier side Antwerp opted to terminate his deal on mutual consent and get the player’s wages off their burden of responsibilities.

The 24-year-old French-born found himself way down the pecking order as playing time became rare for him, leading to his demotion to Antwerp’s reserves.

The North African has been looking for an escape route since, managing to reach an agreement with the club’s movers and shakers culminating into a parting of ways for both sides.

However, four days following his release, another Belgian side has come securing his services in a quick turn of events.

Nader inked a two-and-half year deal with Westerlo as the second division outfit consider him a right fit in their quest for promotion.

The contract takes effect January 2020 but the Tunisian will join up with his new teammates to acquaint with the conditions surrounding him ahead of a busy season.
