Trouble is currently bubbling at demoted Algerian Premier League side MO Bejaia with the club coach resigning and the players staging a strike.

Trouble is currently bubbling at demoted Algerian Premier League side MO Bejaia with the club coach resigning and the players staging a strike.

This is the second time The Green and Blacks are going on a sit-down strike this season over wage disputes.

The drama hovering this minute comes as a huge source of distraction for an outfit with the initial ambition of returning to the premier league following their demotion last championship.

MO is in the red zone after fourteen games and could drop to the third tier if the stand-off between the management and the players is not sorted.

Fans have visited the players at the club base several times hoping to persuade them to end the strike without success.

The players are insisting they will only resume training if the chairman gives a definite answer to their demands.

And in the wake of this, coach Moez Bouakaz has also resigned from his role, compounding the situation, according to back pages in Algiers.
