It comes on the back of four deaths registered of forty-eight confirmed positive cases.

Worldwide, over 150,000 people are said to have tested positive of Covid-19 with close to six thousand killed by the pandemic.

The announcement by the government via its sports ministry means the league 1 and 2 scheduled games have been called off.

The directive does not, however, affect the North African country’s Olympic Team who are allowed to continue training for the Tokyo Games.
