Algerian Club Introduces New Transfer Policy, Asks Players to Send CVs

Algerian domestic league heavyweights JSK Kabylie have altered its transfer policy instead asking players to send CVs with which they could be assessed.

Algerian domestic league heavyweights JSK Kabylie have altered its transfer policy instead asking players to send CVs with which they could be assessed.

It comes on the heels of chairman Cherif Mellal’s expression of dissatisfaction over the performances of some of the side’s players.

Currently in Morocco where they are due to contest capital side FUS Rabat in an exhibition game, Mellal wants JSK to reclaim the league top spot at the resumption of the championship.

And in a break away from tradition, the club have asked players to send in CVs. It’s unclear whether the former league champions will maintain its contracted team of scouts following this announcement.

“You have to know that JS Kabylie is a very big club –the dream of any player. From now on, those who want to play for JS Kabylie must send us their CVs. Afterward, we will study them and we will select the best players who can take on the Kabylie’s jersey,” Mellal who’s serving a suspension, said.

Cherif was banned following his comments accusing the league organizing committee of plotting against his team, which he claims, led to The Greens relinquishing the table summit to USM Alger.
