DR Congo Defender Ends His Contract With Turkish Side Ankaraguçu

DR Congo defender Wilfred Moke has left Turkish side Anakaragucu, Ducor Sports can exclusively reveal.

Moke joined the Ankara-based outfit from another Turkish Super Lig outfit Konyaspor.

The former Voluntari centre-back was however reported to be angling for a move away from the club after he was relegated to the bench following reports of interests from some French clubs.

Information gathered by Ducor Sports suggests that the 32-year-old has finally been granted his wish after terminating his contract with the club with 26 months still to run on his three-year contract.

Moke only played 13 games for the club in his first term, 7 being league encounters and 6 being Turkish Cup matches.

Born in Kinshasa, Moke played youth football for a number of local sides in his homeland before joining French giants Olympique Noisy-le-Sec in 2006.

He also played for San Fernado, Puertollano, Socuellamos, Ecija Balompire, Cadiz, Burgo, Rapid Bucuresti, and Voluntari.

Moke made his debut for the DR Congo national football team in a friendly 2-0 win over Botswana on 5 June 2017.
