2022 World Cup Qualifier: Mali To Host Uganda In Guinea

Mali national team will host Uganda Cranes in Conakry, Guinea in upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier, reports Ducor Sports.

The encounter is billed for Sunday, November 14.

The Eagles of Mali have played their home games in the World Cup qualifiers in Agadir Stadium, Morocco following a ban on their home ground Stade du 26 Mars, Bamako by the Confederation of African Football.

Mali boasted six international-standard stadiums, including two in Bamako, when they staged the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations.

Stade General Lansana Conte de Nongo in Guinea has now officially been confirmed as the venue for the matchday five encounter.

The Eagles were held to a goalless draw by Uganda on matchday two at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, Uganda.

Mali recently named the same squad that played against Uganda away with Southampton midfielder Moussa Djenepo among the high profile players.

Others include Highly rated Al Ahly midfield gem Aliou Dieng and Dar Young Africans custodian Djigui Diarra.

Mali top Group E with ten points, while Uganda are second on eight points.

Rwanda are bottom of the standings with one points with Kenya third having recorded two points.
