We Are Ready for Poland -Senegal’s Captain Kouyateh

West Ham United and Senegal’s skipper Cheikhou Kouyaté insists his teammates are ready for today’s thrilling tie against Poland.

The Taranga Lions will be making a second show in the events in Russia after the first 16 years ago.

And Kouyaté divulges they’ve been training ‘like dogs’, calling the reality greeting them in Moscow a dream come true.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]“We’re ready, we’ve worked like dogs but now it’s like kid’s dream is becoming a reality,”[/perfectpullquote]

the 28-year-old says, insisting each of the games will be treated like a final.

“it’s a final we must play and win,” the erstwhile Anderlecht midfield kingpin says , adding he and his teammates are under no pressure to win in the wake of the recent catalogue of defeats facing African teams even though the side’s goal is to clutch all points on stake.

“No, it’s the first game, it’s important but it’s not decisive even if the goal is to win.”
