Former Etoile du Sahel defender Vincent Bossou says he would be open to returning to Tanzania Premier League giants Yanga.

The Togolese spent two seasons with Yanga and made an impressive impact, featuring in 76 league games and scoring three times.

His outstanding displays for the Dar-es-Salaam outfit saw him earn a move to Thailand outfit Pattani FC in 2019.

Speaking to Ducor Sports, the centre-back who has been a revelation for his Thai League 3 side says it’s his desire to return to Yanga.

“If the time is right and everything falls into place then I wouldn’t rule it out,” said Bossou.

The defender also sent an awareness message to all of his fans across the African continent reminding them to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

“To my dear fans across Africa, I request you to respect the instructions of your governments to avoid the spread of Covid-19, “he added.

Bossou began his career at Maranatha FC in Togo. He has also featured for Tunisian side Étoile Sportive du Sahel.

He also featured for four Vietnamese clubs – Navibank Saigon, Becamex Binh Duong, TDC Binh Duong and An Giang FC – between 2011 and 2014.

Bossou is also a member of the Togolese national team and was part of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations squad that reached the quarterfinal in South Africa.
