Troubled Tunisian Side Secure New Coach to Save Gloomy Season

Trouble-gripped Tunisian top club Tataouine have swiftly hired the services of a new coach to replace the managerial void created by former coach Khaled Ben Yahia’s departure.

Trouble-gripped Tunisian top club Tataouine have swiftly hired the services of a new coach to replace the managerial void created by former coach Khaled Ben Yahia’s departure.

The latter ceased being the club’s shot-caller after feeling he had had enough following a rift with the board whom he accused of setting unrealistic season expectations.

Perched at the bottom of the 14-team standings basement, Tatouine had to do without a coach last week culminating into their eighth league defeat in ten outings.

Khaled was appointed in October as the “right fit” on the helm but lasted no more than thirty days in the role before choosing to walk away.

His new replacement Hamadi Daoui, hired on Monday, is tasked with applying the brakes to what has so far proven to be an abysmal stretch.

Hamadi will begin his familiarisation tour of the club’s facilities including lead drills on Tuesday as he sets about putting up of a formidable team up against a stuttering Kairouan this weekend.
