Former Super Eagles winger Tijani Babaginda has tipped the current squad to shine at this year Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

With Nigeria heading back to the continental soccer showpiece after missing the past two editions, Babaginda says Eagles will make a resounding impact at the competition they last won in 2013.

“Nigeria certainly know what is in front of them, it is a business they have to finish, all they need to do is just ensure they remain calm and finish the business,” the ex-international said in an interview with Radio Brila.

“The coach has his own winning team as well as his own pattern. The boys have been doing very well and I see them doing well once again.”

The three-time African Champions qualified for the 2019 tournament with a game to play, having earned 10 points from possible 15 points.

Despite sealing their qualification already, Gernot Rohr’s men are set to tackle Seychelles later in March in an Afcon qualifier which could be used by the head coach to test new players and different formations.
