SuperSport United goalkeeper Boalefa Pule has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2023, the club has announced.

The 30-year-old former Bidvest Wits keeper had made twenty appearances for SuperSport United since rejoining the club from a successful loan stint at Amazulu in 2018.

“I am very happy to renew my contract with SuperSport and hopefully we can enjoy the next three  seasons and achieve a lot of targets,” Pule said after signing the new deal

SuperSport United CEO Stanley Matthews added; “It’s not easy for a goalkeeper who is sitting behind the most capped player and captain at his club to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and consistency.

“Boalefa is now one of our longest-serving players and we are delighted that our goalkeeping department has the depth that it does.”

The experienced custodian joined SuperSport back in 2011 but has struggled to usurp Ronwen Williams as the number one choice between the sticks, consequently spending lengthy spells on the sidelines.
