Nigerian international midfielder Uchendu Chinaza has confirmed that she has left Portuguese side SC Braga.

Uchendu had joined the Minho Warriors from Nigeria Women Football League outfit River Angels in 2018 on a two-year-deal.

“Two years with Braga, I must say it was an amazing experience, being my first professional club. The support from the team since my arrival till my time of departure is a feeling I don’t know how to describe,” she said.

The Nigeria international scored six goals and 14 assists in 18 games in her debut season to help Braga clinch the league title in 2018.

Uchendu was part of Super Falcons squad that won 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations where she scored one of four penalties in the penalty shootout that brought the Nigeria women’s national football team the championship.
