St George Sign Ivorian Striker

Ethiopia Premier League giants St George FC have completed the signing of Zabo Teguy Dany as they get ready for the new season.

The stoutly built Ivorian joins the horsemen on a two-year deal from Asante Kotoko who are featuring in the Ghanaian top- flight.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of forward Zabo Teguy Dany. Let’s welcome him to the den,” St George said in a statement.

Dany, known for his darting runs and skilful dribbles, has been lured to St George before but turned down their advances.

The 24-year-old joined Kotoko in January on a three-year deal but his stay was cut short after suffering a posterior dislocation that kept him out of action for several months.

Dany is expected to play a starring role for the Saints as they seek to reclaim the Ethiopian Premier League title.

St George finished fourth in the EPL last season and will be hoping to add more signings as the 2019/2020 season kick-off date approaches.
