Senegal’s coach Aliou Cisse says his charges are determined and thus has no reason to think the lions cannot qualify.

Today’s clash promises to be a scintillating cracker with so much at stake.

Cisse, captain of the 2002 Senegalese team that reached the World Cup quarter-finals, say he has no reason to doubt his troops won’t be going through.

“I have no reason to think today that Senegal cannot qualify,” the 42-year-old ex-central midfielder begins, adding, “after a 2-1 win against the Poles and a 2-2 draw against the Japanese. We are in the right tempo.”

senegal-playersRegarding motivation, the only black coach at the Russia events said: “The motivation is there. Trust is there. We know that we will have to be present for 95 minutes to really get back into history. We are really determined.”

Meanwhile,  Moussa Wague, scorer of the Lions’ last goal, could be in line for more minutes after his brilliant debut against Japan.
