Saudi Club Forks out US$700K for 3-time Tunisian League-winning Striker

Saudi Arabian giants Al-Ittihad see Anice Badri as a solution to their goal profligacy and have forked out US$700,000 to secure his services.

Saudi Arabian giants Al-Ittihad see Anice Badri as a solution to their goal profligacy and have forked out US$700,000 to secure his services.

Badri is priced around 2 million euros but Al-Ittihad appear keen to dole out only $700,000.

This sum, according to reports in Jeddah, is a bait to tempt Africa club champions Esperance to come to the negotiation table.

An improved sum from the initial 500,000 lodged previously, Ittihad are hoping movers and shakers of Esperance would budge from “uncompromising” stance and cash in on the wide-man considering his deal runs out in six months.

Badri has not entertained talks of inking the dotted lines over a new deal and this could leave Esperance counting losses as they risk seeing their 650,000 euros purchase from Belgian side Mouscron go in vain.

Badri is capped twenty-four times with Tunisia.
