Salah Out Of Barcelona Clash

Egyptian talisman Mohamed Salah will miss Liverpool’s Champions League return leg match against Barcelona with a concussion.

The attacker was taken off during last Saturday English Premier League after suffering a concussion against Newcastle United.

It was thought that last season’s English Premier League player of the season would be available for the match against the Catalonia based side but coach Jurgen Klopp has now confirmed that the attacker alongside Roberto Firmino will miss the match.

“It’s a concussion [for Salah], so that means he would not even be allowed to play. That’s it, that’s all. He feels OK, but it is not good enough from a medical point of view, that’s all. He is desperate and everything, but we cannot do it. That’s it,” he told the club website.

Salah is however expected to be fit for Sunday’s final league match of the season against Wolves.
