It’s official. Former Guinea international striker Mathias Pogba has joined Spanish third division side CD Manchego on a free transfer.

The club confirmed on Monday evening with the player set to be presented later this week at the club’s home base, Estadio Rey Juan Carlos.

Pogba, who is the brother of Manchester United and France star Paul Pogba, returns to Spain for the second stint after previously featuring for Celta Vigo in his youth career.

He boasts of vast experience, having started his professional career with French fourth-tier side Quimper in 2009/2010 season.

Since then he has had several clubs including Crawley Town, Partick Thistle, Pescara and Sparta Rotterdam.

Pogba, capped five times for Guinea, joins CD Manchego after a season spell with French third-tier side Tours.
