Equatorial Guinea and Mekelle Ketema goalkeeper Fellipe Ovono has officially joined Liga Nacional de Fútbol giants Futuro Kings.

Equatorial Guinea and Mekelle Ketema goalkeeper Fellipe Ovono has officially joined Liga Nacional de Fútbol giants Futuro Kings.

The 27-year-old custodian, who had two wonderful seasons with Ethiopian Premier League outfit Mekelle, signed a two-year-contract with Kings.

The deal was officially confirmed on the Mongomo-based outfit’s Facebook page where the goalkeeper has agreed to join the home side next season.

Keeper Ovono, who has 25 caps for Equatorial Guinea, has played more than 50 games for Mekelle since joining from Orlando Pirates in 2017.

Ovono was previously linked with a move to Royal Eagles and former club Sony Ela Nguema after leaving Mekelle in March.

He is highly rated in Equatorial Guinea and is expected to take the number one jersey at the club next season.

Ovono was part of the Nzalang Nacional squad which represented the country at the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
