Enugu Rangers FC forward Obinna Eleje has set his eyes on winning the CAF Confederation Cup with the club this season.

The former Katsina United marksman has already settled in Aba and is looking forward to a successful stay with the Nigeria Professional Football League outfit.

Eleje is adapting to the new methods of training under the watchful eye of Benedict Ugwu and says he is hoping to fire the club to CAF Confederation Cup glory.

“My target is to win the CAF Confederations Cup, and possibly, the domestic title with Rangers Int’l,” he said in an interview with AOIFootball.com

“I appreciate the players and officials of this club for their warm reception when I came in; everyone here has been lovely.  Their cooperation and support made me feel at home, I’m not having any issues settling down.”

“We’re already living like one family. The encouragement I get from the players on the ground gives me a lot of motivation.”

Eleje joined the Coal City side on a free transfer in July after falling out with Katsina United management over three-month unpaid salaries.

Enugu received a bye to the round of 32 of the tournament where they await the winners between AS Pelican of Gabon and AS Maniema Union of DR Congo.
