Morocco’s AS Sale are the FIBA Africa Champions

Morocco’s AS Sale became FIBA Africa Champions after beating hosts ES Rades 77-69 in the Final at Salle Omnisports of Rades, Tunisia. Morocco International Abderrahim Najah recorded team-best 16points and 11 rebounds while Mohamed Hadidane of ES Rades dropped game-high 21 points and 7 rebounds.

AS Sale’s Abdelhakim Zouita was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, headlining the All-Star Five, where he was joined by his teammate Abderrahim Najah, Omar Abada (ES Rades), Evariste Shonganya (US Monastir) and Mohamed Harat (GS Petroliers).
