Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama SC have completed the signing of Burkina Faso defender Zana Oumar Coulibaly.

The 28-year-old defender makes the switch from Democratic Republic of Congo giants AS Vita after signing a two-year deal with the Mauve and Yellow.

The move was announced on Saturday after the star trained with the club for several days.

Coulibaly, who last featured for Vita in March 2020, may make his Medeama debut away to Berkum Chelsea next Friday.

Meanwhile, the club has parted ways with coach Samuel Boadu just days after guiding the club to 2-0 win over  Eleven Wanderers in the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana U15 national team coach was reported to be unhappy in Tarkwa following the club’s decision to hire Finland-based Seth Ablade as technical director.

Boadu was in charge for four years following his appointment in 2017.

Hearts of Oak are reported to be interested in the services Boadu as a replacement of Kosta Papic who left the club just 78 days after his appointment.

Boadu maybe at the Phobians before they face arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the first Super Clash of the season on Sunday at the Accra Sports
