Mauritania are set to play Senegal in an international friendly on March 26 in Nouakchott.
After their last AFCON qualifying games, the Al-Murabitum and the Lions of Teranga will lock horns at the Olympic Stadium.
Both countries have qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with a game to spare.
Mauritania will round up their qualification against Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou between March 22-24 while the West Africans host Madagascar in their last group game.
The last outing between the two sides in 2017 ended 2-0 in favour of the West Africans and was a friendly played at Stade Demba Diop in Dakar.
Head coach Corentin Martins and the technical committee will soon convene to name the squad before the federation makes official communications to the players’ respective clubs.
Mauritania qualified for an Africa Cup of Nations finals for the first time in their history in November last year.
The famous result placed Mauritania on 12 points at the top of Group I, with Angola – who beat Burkina Faso 2-1 – second on nine points.
Burkina Faso are two points further back with Botswana bottom with one point.
