Liverpool Star Sadio Mane To Undergo Medical On Tuesday Ahead Of £35m Move

Liverpool and Senegal star Sadio Mane will jet into Germany on Tuesday to undergo a medical with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old agreed to joins Bayern on a deal worth up to £35million, with the club willing to pay another £2.5m based on individual and team achievements.

Mane joined Liverpool   for £31m plus £2.5m in add-ons from Southampton six years ago.

Since then he has gone on to make 196 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side, scoring 90 goals.

He also won the Club World Cup (2019), FA Cup (2022) and Carabao Cup (2022) as he scored 120 goals in 269 games in all competitions during his time at Liverpool.

Mane , who has made no secret of his desire to leave the Reds, tried to force through a move to Bayern last summer and during the January window.

He was set to enter he final year of his contract with Liverpool, and negotiations over a new deal were shelved some time ago.
