Kenyan Premier League: Kitambi Named Coach of the Month for March

Outgoing AFC Leopards coach Denis Kitambi is the Fidelity Insurance Kenyan Premier League Coach of the Month for March.

The tactician received Ksh75, 000 (USD 750) in prize money as well as a trophy having led Leopards to a four league victories over that month.

Kitambi was voted unanimously by the Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) Football Commission and the award was presented to him at the team’s Camp Toyoyo training grounds on Monday.

Kitambi said in an interview.

The former Azam FC assistant is expected to the country on Tuesday for Bangladesh where he has been appointed as analysis and statistics expert of Saif Sporting Club.

Leopards are currently fifth on the Kenyan Premier League table with 21 points from 14 matches, and are poised to face Nakumatt in their next match this weekend under new coach Rodolfo Zapata from Argertina.
