Kenya started the match on a high taking charge of the match from the opening stages. They showed their intentions to progress to the finals taking a 27-11 lead in the first quarter.

The Morans equally dominated the second quarter by not giving the North Africans any room to come into the game, the second stanza ended in a 50-26 scoreline in favour of Kenya.

The third quarter was closely fought with Morocco showing more ambition. At the end of it, Kenya led 77-46. The final quarter saw Kenya rest some of their key players like captain Griffin Ligare, Tyler Okari and Erick Mutoro but their replacements equally did a good job stretching the lead to 96-66.

Ulinzi Warriors’ Mutoro was the star of the match bagging 32 points for Kenya and they will now face DR Congo who beat Angola in the other semi in the final on Saturday.
