KENYA: City Stars, Bandari Match Moved to Sunday in a New Venue

Nairobi City Stars have announced that their  Football Kenya Federation Premier League fixture against Bandari FC will be played on Sunday.

This encounter, originally scheduled to take place at Kasarani Annex on Saturday, will now be held at Ruaraka Grounds.

City Stars confirmed on their match poster that they would host Coastal Kenya at Ruaraka Grounds, a venue home to defending champions Tusker.

The clash is among the nine matches slated for this weekend, with the competition having already entered its crucial phases.

The 14th-placed City Sats will be going for maximum points against the Dockers in their bid to move far from the red zone with just five matches remaining to the end of the season.

City Stars might feel at home at Ruaraka, a venue they have used as an alternative home to Kasarani Annex this season.

Meanwhile, Bandari will be desperate to secure a win over City Stars, which would boost their hopes of finishing in the top five positions in the league.

The Dockers are currently placed sixth in the standings, and a victory will take them to 47 points, reducing the gap between them and fifth-placed Kenya Police to three points.

The Round 30 fixtures chunk of games will be across the weekend, with four matches on Saturday and the other five on Sunday.
