Standard Liege completed the transfer agreement for the 20-year-old for the fee plus an array of potential bonuses that takes up the deal to €1 million.

The two clubs, Standard Liege and TP Mazembe, signed the final transfer document on Tuesday, September 8 with Muleka having already passed a medical with the Belgian Pro League club a week earlier.

“Standard de Liège, TP Mazembe and Jackson Muleka have settled the final details of the transfer. The young Congolese international striker has officially signed up for the Rouches,” the club confirmed on their official portal.

The forward, who rose through the ranks of Lumbubashi-based Ecofoot Katumbi Academy to join Mazembe, joins on a four-year-contract.

Muleka attracted interests from other top European clubs including with French top side Lille also trying luck on the forward, bur Standard Liege finally ended all the speculations.

It would be recalled the former youth international made an impressive mark in his native DR Congo league, scoring 15 goals and seven assists in 20 appearances.

Muleka made his debut the DR Congo national team in 2019 and has been capped seven times scoring three times.
