Hassania Agadir Move For KCCA Defender Mustapha Kiiza Hits Snag

Hassania Union Sport Agadir’s move for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC defender Mustapha Kiiza has hit a snag.

Hassania Union Sport Agadir’s move for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC defender Mustapha Kiiza has hit a snag.

The Ugandan defender had been linked with a move to Morocco for some time and it was expected the deal would be completed by Friday.

The 20-year-old had left Kampala on Tuesday to undergo a mandatory medical examination with a big possibility of sealing a three-year-deal.

But latest reports indicate that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has put a break to Agadir’s hunt for new foreigner’s signings in the ongoing transfer window.

According to a source close to the player but who preferred anonymity, Agadir was informed on Wednesday that they had exhausted their transfers according to their financial fair play rules.

This is the second time that Kiiza will be making a return to Ugandan Premier League after a move to foreign club failed to materialize.

Last summer, Kiiza was linked with a move to La Liga where he was to join Real Valladolid Sports Club.

Kizza played three build-up matches before he returned home as KCCA’s asking price for the player was way beyond for Real who at that time were working on a tight budget.

Agadir currently are deep in relegation zone where they occupy 15th spot on nine points with 19 games left to play.
