Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne will on Tuesday name his preliminary squad that will pitch camp in France ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne will on Tuesday name his preliminary squad that will pitch camp in France ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

Migne will name a 26-man squad that will travel to France. He will then trim the squad to 23 players before heading to Egypt for the biannual tournament.

While in France, Kenya will play Madagascar and Gambia in build-up matches on 7th and 15th June respectively.

On Tuesday, coach Migne will not only name his AFCON squad but also the squad that will take part in 2020 Chan qualifiers. A number of Kenya U-23 players are expected to feature in the Chan Squad.

Probable AFCON squad

Defenders: Philemon Otieno (Gor Mahia-Kenya), Musa Mohammed (Nkana FC-Zambia), Joash Onyango (Gor Mahia-Kenya), Abud Omar (Sepsi Sfântu-Romania), David Owino (Zesco United-Zambia), Bernard Ochieng (Vihiga United-Kenya), Brian Mandela (Maritzburg United-South Africa), Erick Ouma (Vasalund IF-Sweden)
