Golden Boot: Mo Salah Equals Aubameyang’s 10 League Goals

Tmeyanghe race for the English Premier League golden boot is up and running with two Africans locked in a fierce contest.

Arsenal’s striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was leading the way by three goals before the Egyptian matched the Gabonese’s ten-goal feat Saturday evening.

Salah was trailing by seven goals in the lead up to Saturday’s complete demolition of AFC Bournemouth in which he grabbed a hat-trick.

The result means both are tied on ten goals each, according to statistics, with Three Lions’ striker Harry Kane and City’s Aguero at second and third in the scoring standings.

It means competition is very much alive between the men, another testament of the EPL’s unpredictability.

The quartet will be hoping to stay off injuries during the season.
