Gambia’s Ibou Touray Joins Manchester United Class of 92 stars Co-Owned Club

Gambia’s Ibou Touray joined English club Salford City, co-owned by a group of Manchester United Class of 92 stars; Paul Scholes, the Neville brothers, Nicky Butt, and Ryan Giggs.

The left-back capped twice with Gambia made the move last week after seeing out his contract with non-league outfit Nantwich Town where he was the best young player last season, featuring fifty-nine times.

The 22-year-old joins a side that has an agreement pact of reaching the English second tier in a 15-year period.

Touray, born in Liverpool making him eligible to play for both England and Gambia, started out his career with Everton’s reserves and signed a contract there prior to switching to Wales Premier League side Rhyl, before dropping to the seventh division in England. His transfer to sixth-tier side Salford City is a career advancement.
