Ex-Senegalese Arena King Bombardier’s MMA Fight Postponed

Senegalese former wrestling king Bombardier will have to put his hopes of a second appearance in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) on hold after his latest fight was postponed.

Senegalese former wrestling king Bombardier will have to put his hopes of a second appearance in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) on hold after his latest fight was postponed.

The Mbour-based wrestler –the first Senegalese wrestler to turn to MMA – had been scheduled to face Wojcieh Bulinski in recent weeks.

However, the fight will not be held this year following the organizers’ decision to push it to next year.

“We regret to announce that the combat Bombardier, Senegalese wrestler, VS Wojciech Buliński – MMA fighter is postponed to 2019,” MMA Events organisers said in a statement.

Bombardier’s debut in the European contact sport ended with a win over compatriot Rocky Balbao in less than a minute.

The two-time arena king is without a combat having relinquished his crown to Eumeu Sine in a shocking outcome that had the latter crowned for the first time in a career spanning over 20 years.

His latest adversary Blinski, aged 34, has 13 wins with just two defeats in fifteen duels.
