Congolese goalkeeper Lukong Mbuyamba Mutombo has joined Zambia Super League outfit Sensational Zanaco.

The 24-year-old diminutive goalkeeper put pen on paper to a two-year deal from National Division One champions Indeni FC.

Mutombo joins the Bankers to fill the void left by Benson Mwale who has joined Buildcon on a season-long loan deal.

He is expected to start training with the club immediately as the club continues with their preparation for the upcoming FAZ/MTN Super League season.

Before the deal, Mutombo was rumored to be heading back to Democratic Republic of Congo where he was to sign for FC Saint Eloi Lupopo.

Mutombo had previously played for TP Mazembe youth side (TP Mazembe Ecole de Foot) before crossing to Zambia where he joined Ndola United in 2016.

He played for one season at Ndola before being snapped up by Indeni in 2017 where he enjoyed success by winning the championship.

Mutombo will battle it for first choice goalkeeper against the experience trio of Racha Kola, Toaster Nsabata and Mangeni Banda.
