CHAN 2020: Red Devils Are Ready, Declares Coach Ngatsono

Congo Brazzaville “B” head coach, Barthélémy Ngatsono, says his team is “ready” to take on the rest of the continent in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

Congo Brazzaville “B” head coach, Barthélémy Ngatsono, says his team is “ready” to take on the rest of the continent in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The Red Devils are currently camping at Alphonse-Massamba-Débat Stadium, as they prepare for the tournament in Cameroon.

However, Coach Ngatsono’s side has failed to inspire following a winless pre-tournament friendly in Kigali, where the Red Devils played to a goalless draw against Rwanda.

However, Ngatsono believes Congo Brazzaville has done enough preparations ahead of the tournament to be hosted in Cameroon.

According to him, although the tournament will be difficult, the Red Devils players are equally ready for the challenge.

“The Red Devils team is ready to compete at African Nations Championship in Cameroon. The players are ready to give the maximum,” the coach said.

“We have good organization, cohesion and quality in the team basing on values of working together.”

The Red Devils are playing in the tournament for the third time, having made past appearances in South Africa 2014 and Morocco 2018.
