Champions Senegal, Egypt in Beach AFCON Semis

Senegal, Egypt, Morocco, and Nigeria have all sealed a spot in the on-going Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.

Holders Senegal walked over Libya 10-1 to be assured of safe passage to the next round as The Lions wrapped up the group stage on top.

Nigeria have also breezed into the semis having spanked Tanzania 4-2 in the Super Sand Eagles’ final group fixture after biting the dust to Senegal in their opener.

Hosts Egypt made sure they’re not left out in the trip to the semis. The Pharaohs humbled Ivory Coast 10-3 as they eye snatching the gong off Senegal’s grip following a 6-1 win over North African rivals Morocco in the first game who are also in the fray of things after routing Madagascar 6-4.

The finals come to a conclusion December 14 with the winners and runner-up qualifying for the World Cup in Paraguay.
