Cameroon’s U-20 Starlet Heads for Trials with St-Etienne

French Ligue One side St-Etienne will this week carry out trials with Cameroonian youngster Ivan Olama Mvondo.

A product of goalkeeper Carlos Kameni’s Academy club, Mvondo will arrive in eastern central France hoping to impress during his audition in a bid to be offered a contract.

A member of the Cameroon U-20 side that competed in the youth championship in Zambia, Mvondo was the lead scorer for his domestic club the past three seasons.

Comfortable playing in midfield or on the flanks, Olama doesn’t feel out of place when fielded in the attack.
