CAF Approves B-License Course for Liberia

The Liberia Football Association has received approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to administer the CAF B coaching course for coaches in Liberia.

LFA President Mustapha Raji revealed this information recently during a press conference at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

President Raji thanked Henry Browne, the technical director of the LFA, and the members of the technical and youth football committee for their efforts in ensuring that Liberia complies with the necessary standards.

The approval follows LFA submitting its specifically tailored manual as instructed by CAF.

CAF stopped the course in 2016 after it changed the system of offering courses. The CAF Convention mandates that MAs now have a tailored manual for CAF Certified Coaching Courses.

CAF B Licence is a minimum coaching qualification required for one to coach in the country’s Elite League.

Coaches must successfully complete a 160-hour program and pass tests in order to receive the CAF B License.
