BREAKING: Bus Carrying Togolese Club Players Involved in an Accident

A bus carrying Togolese soccer team Dyto FC was involved in an accident on Friday that left several players needing hospital treatment.

The Lome-based club were on their way to Bafilo to play against Sara Sport in a Togolese first division fixture when their bus lost control.

No fatalities have been reported though several players are receiving treatment.

“Players and officials of the club were on their way to Bafilo when the bus was involved in an accident,” Ablam Gnamesso, a French journalist from Lome confirmed to Ducor Sports.

“Personnel on the bus are generally fine. But the club will release an official statement shortly.”

Eyewitness reports indicate that the bus developed problems in its braking system, causing it to lose control and continued a short distance before ramming into a truck.

Dyto are currently in the 4th position on the log and were traveling to Bafilo to play against Sara FC in matchday 13 of the league.
