Aubameyang Ends Feud with Gabon, to Honor Qualifier

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has ended his feud with the Gabonese Football Association and national team coach Daniel Cousins.

The Arsenal striker has had bad blood between him and Gabonese football authorities leading to his absence during The Panthers’ game against Mali and South Sudan.

The Central African nation bit the dust in their previous encounter to Mali leaving them rooted in third place in Group C on seven points.

Qualification remains within reach but they must fend off second-placed Burundi to see it happen.

As a result, Cousins has put aside his beef with his club captain.

The Gunners’ striker was initially said to have been hesitant about returning to the national team before his change of mind, according to Gabonese journalist Freddy Koula.

The development will represent good news for gaffer Daniel whose future on the managerial seat hinges on outcome of this game.
