Indomitable Lions defender Ambroise Oyongo has said that his team will give their all when they meet Comoros in their last 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier set to be staged at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaounde on Saturday, 23rd March.

Cameroon come into the match placed second in Group B standings with eight points from five matches, and they need only a draw to secure a place in the 2019 finals.

Oyongo say that the team is ready for the tie, adding that they will be going for nothing but maximum points against the Les Coelacanthes.

“We have a very important match on Saturday against the Comoros. We are not yet qualified, we need a good result to qualify. It is in front of our family, our friends, our public, it is necessary to prepare well the match,” said Oyongo as translated from French.

Oyongo also says that he is optimistic they will make it through with a win against the Islanders who are placed third in the standings.
