Egyptian Premier League club’s manager Pitso Mosimane has recovered from coronavirus ahead of Monday’s clash against Ittihad of Alexandria.

Mosimane tested negative for the virus 10 days after he went into self-isolation to treat himself.

The experienced gaffer missed the Red Devil’s last two matches, an EPL win against Ghazl El-Mahalla and their African Champions League first-round victory against Niger’s Sonidep.

The South African coach expressed his excitement after being cleared to preside his charges in the fight to retain the EPL trophy.

“Finally, the virus is out of my system. Thanks to everybody for the love and support during the past difficult two weeks,” the coach said on Twitter.

“Can’t wait to reunite with the Mosimane and Al Ahly Family.”

The 56-year-old joined Al Ahly in September and guided the team to their first African Champions League title since 2013 last month.

He also guided the Club of the Century to a 3-2 victory over El Geish on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the Egyptian Cup final earlier this month.
